Background

Duane holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from Oklahoma State University, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Oklahoma City University. Duane is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Oklahoma. Duane has worked in the ground source industry since 1996, when he started drilling, installing ground loops, and performing geotechnical in situ thermal conductivity tests while studying mechanical engineering. During the first 15 years of his professional career, he focused on HVAC and Plumbing design for commercial and industrial applications. The latter half of his career he focused on design build construction, contracting, and equipment sales. In addition to his membership in The GreyEdge Group, Duane also serves as the President of NexTEMP Solutions, Inc., which manufactures both polymodal heat pumps and heat exchangers for ground source systems and Ambient Temperature Loop Systems.

Areas of Expertise

Duane is an expert in HVAC building load analysis, code analysis, specifications, and HVAC systems design. His expertise also includes thermal conductivity testing and ground source systems design. Duane can take a project from start to finish with his expertise in planning, project development, project management thanks in part to his extensive experience with project leadership, resource management and staff training.
